Karani helps small businesses create invoices and quotes, and keep their business documents organised, through WhatsApp. This page explains what we collect and how we treat it — in plain language, because that's how we do everything.

What we collect

• Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us and use it only to contact you about Karani's launch and pilot.
• Using Karani: when the service launches, we store the business details you give us (your business name, logo, tax settings), the invoices and quotes you create, and documents you choose to forward to us — so we can generate your paperwork and keep your records for you. That's the product.

What we don't do

• We never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
• We never use your conversations or documents to train AI models.
• We don't message your customers — your documents go to you, and you send them on.

How it's stored

Your data is encrypted in transit and stored with established cloud infrastructure providers. Access is limited to what's needed to operate the service.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — including removing yourself from the waitlist. Email info@karani.biz and a human will handle it.
